I thought about doing a a small spacer on my 4runner for maybe a .5" inch of extra lift, with the same setup. but i think im going to wait until i get a bumper or something, as i already have a torn driver cv boot from my first off road outting trying to pull my buddy out.
Here is mine with eibach and lc 8 wraps

went through this thread and i think im going to get the 8 wrap coils as i don't like the way the 890 sits with the eibach lift. question is i have the bilsteins in the rear offered by toytec. can i run those shocks? also where would you guys get the lc coils and where can i get extended brake lines. thanks for the help in advance.
any idea on the bilsteins?

If you're talking about the Blistein 5125's, that's what I'll be using with my LC coils here soon. From everything I've read they should work fine.

Hey guys I am wanting to do the Rear LC Coil/Front Tundra Strut Lift.
Somwhere on here was a reference to a Craigslist add in Pheonix for LC Coils. I contacted the seller and he wants 35 for the fronts plus shipping. I got him to send me a pic. According to the LC Coil color code they are 7.5 Wrap coils. One is taller than the other. Is this right? Are they incorrect should the driver be different than the passenger color codes? Or are these good just put the taller spring on the drivers side? Thanks
Also if I have a 99 what year of Tundra do i want to get the front strut assembly from?
FYI this will be a daily driver with occasional wheeling trips. I won't mind a mild rake but don't want my A** in the air :boink:

Those look exactly like the ones I just got done putting into my truck. Yes, one will be longer than the other as usually the longer one will compensate for the gas tank/driver extra weight on one side of the truck. Those coils are the:
White, Light Blue, Dbl Pink - 7.5wraps (19") - Passenger side
White, Dark Blue, Dbl Purple - 8wraps (19 1/4") - Driver side
2000-2006 TRD 4x4 Tundras are the years you're looking for, but specifically with Yellow/Yellow and Yellow/Blue color codes on the coils. I'm putting those with Adj blisteins on my 4runner.
All depends on how much weight you'll have in the rear. Expect a good 3+ inches with LC coils and stock configuration. Of course, this always varies on already wear on the LC coils and the weight you'll have in the rear.

I still can't find a definitive answer on what coils to run up front with the LC 8 wraps. I'll probably end up running Rough Country 9000 shocks in the rear. Just trying to figure out what to run up front that will provide the least amount of rake.
PS. I can't afford coilovers, so it needs to be some sort of coil and shock combo.

Are Tundra 5100's out of your price range? Used TRD Tundra coils and 5100's are much less than coilovers and give you some height adjustability.
not many with LX 450 coils on here? i have a set ready to go on when my icon coilovers get here. havent dont bad do far. ill have 215 bucks into my new to me 97 4 runner after selling the tires that r on it. no bad for brand new 255 75 17 bfg km's, wheels, rear coils, and icon coilovers. now just need to buy rear shocks

If you want less rake than what you get with tundra coils, go with some OME springs. I am doing the 7 wrap in rear and ome 881w/ sonoran steel sleeves from the SS OME kit. This will give me about 3" up front and 3.5" rear with the 7 wraps.
You will still have rake since the 8 wraps give you near 4" depending on how much they where sagging on the donor vehicle.
