Powder coat stock rims??

Hey guys I was thinking of getting my rims powder coated black. I have a Salsa red runner, and wanted to know if you think black rims would look good? Also If anyone knows of a good place to get powder coating done in the MD/VA/PA area let me know please.

I have a red Tacoma with black rims. I think they look good. A cheaper way would be to DIY. That's what I did. Just took some sandpaper to get the clearcoat off. Then a few coats of primer (black), then some flat black Duplicolor Wheel paint (3 coats). Been holding solid for 1.5 years. Minimal touch ups.

They look good. How long have you had them like that? Any problems so far? Where did you get them done for that much? That seems to be really cheap.

just had them powder coated this summer by a local guy here in butler,pa. he did two other sets of wheels for my sons friends and i was real happy the way they turned out. he's been powder coating on the side for about 10 years now.

I thinks Davem's wheels would look real good on a red 'runner!
