Powering multiple AOB switches?

Hey folks,

I feel like a dope since I cannot figure this out and that my google-fu/searching has failed me thus far. I have an AOB switch for my compressor that is using an add-a-fuse and working perfectly (I am not dimming or anything). I plan on installing a couple more switches but am struggling with figuring out how to get power to those switches. Do I need another add-a-fuse? Can I tap into the existing switch somehow? Appreciate any insight or threads I may have missed. Thanks

Guess I got couple questions for your question.

1. Where did you tap your original power from? I wouldn't just keep tapping off a tap.
2. What exactly do you need to power. Need to calculate current draw.

I currently only have a single accessory with an AOB switch (compressor). I used an add-a-fuse with a 3a fuse in a blank spot in the fuse box under the dash. A slot that gets power only when the vehicle is on. Everything works as it should with this switch.

I received a light bar, so while I am able to get everything wired under the hood with the supplied harness, when it comes to getting power to a second AOB switch is where I am struggling. I am just not sure on the best way to do this. I am in agreement that I do not think that just tapping again would be the most efficient way.

I've always used power straight off the battery (fused of course) then used relays to power my accessories. I don't think much switches can handle the current load.

Google Wiring Light Bar and just make sure the image has a relay in it to see what I mean.
 
Relays are a huge power load solver when it comes to switches and ampere demand. Yes, there are some switches that could handle the current for a certain applications. Will it be convenient to run the appropriate cable size to the switch and then the distance to the equipment? This also presents the question is it safe? Familiarize yourself with 'Ohms Law' and then calculate the distance, amperage demand and allowable current flow without dangerous heat issues. High load demands should be coming directly off the battery, with inline fuse.

Take a moment and study basic DC electrical... take a short class on it if you have the time.

You've invested time and money in your ride... further that investment by learning how to do it with reliability, longevity and most of all with safety in mind.

I should mention that the wiring harness being used has a relay and everything. I may have not explained properly, but the lighting on the switch itself I am having trouble figuring out (on/off indicator basically). I'm not sure the best way to power that considering I have already used an add-a-fuse for a separate switch and don't think I should use another one for each new switch. Sorry if I didn't explain properly.
