MikesToy - These are not available for reverse light applications. What year is your vehicle though? I can definitely suggest a set of bright LED bulbs to upgrade your reverse lights if you are interested.

Check out the ALL NEW High Power 194 LED bulb installed in an IS35) Parking Lights:

I am not surprised to hear/see how bright these Automotive LED bulbs are. Putco uses high power Nichia LED diodes for this 194 LED bulb and the bulbs are assembled right in the USA! Putco rates these bulbs to be 18X brighter than your stock 194 bulbs.

Took alittle while but the kit finally arrived today and I installed it in minutes. :bigok:

The LED's look 100 times better then the stock lights do.

But now I just noticed I need to change out the lights in the side door panels to match these.

What model LED's do I need for that?

Since I am changing out the interior I might as well change some on the outside.

What are the brightest LED bulbs that I could us for the reverse lights?

Also what LED bulbs replace the license plate lights?

And finally whats front marker LED that replace the stock ones on the corners of the 05 headlight assembly would you recommend?

1) Reverse Lights: Your vehicle uses a 921 bulb for the reverse lights meaning that you would need to get a 921 LED bulb. Recently however, we have had customers install Putco's ALL NEW high power 194 LED bulb in the reverse application and have been very happy with the results.

2) License Plate, Door Courtesy Lights, & Front side marker: You would need to get the 194 High Power LED automotive bulbs. They are sold in pairs so you just need to count and see how many sets you need to order.

So I just need to order the same LED for my reverse lights, door marker lights, license plate and front corner markers?

I got mine today it took 2 weeks but these are the best lights!!! I also did the volt 4300k hid kit and it was nice and easy to install although the tabs for attaching to the 4runners wiring are backwards and dont snap over the hook (because you have to flip them for positive negative) its a nice and snug fit and shouldn't come loose.

Sorry, but I've seen these quick-flash stoplights on ambulances where I live and find them very irritating. Reminds me of those flashing stoplights Cadillac used to have 15 or 20 years ago. Hated them. While it is true I wouldn't be able to see them if they were on my 4Runner, I would still know the driver behind me would be just as irritated. The stock LED stoplights on my '08 are almost too bright as they are, so why make it worse for the folks behind me?

A 921 bulb has the same base as a 194 base meaning that you can use a 194 bulb in the reverse light application.



Alaskan_Runner - I am glad to hear that you are happy with your HID kit

I would suggest actually switching the locations of the positive/negative wires rather than flipping the connector upside down. I can email you pictures on how to do that.
