jayjaytuner: Yes, they will dim just like the ones for the 2008-09 model.

I believe that your vehicle uses 194 bulbs for the map lights and a DE 3175 bulb for the dome light meaning that you would need to get a set of the 194 high power LED bulbs for the maps and 1 x DE 3175 LED bulb for the map light.

The Toyota 4 runner LED kit will work on your vehicle as well.

Here is what you would need to get:

1) Interior map/dome lights: You can get our Toyota 4 runner LED Dome light kit.

2) License Plate Lights: I would suggest getting these high power 194 LED bulbs.

3) Parking Lights: The same bulb as the license plate lights.

4) I can help you with the turn signals however be advised that you may need some sort of load resistor in order to avoid having a fast flash.

just wondering if someone with a 2003 runner requires this dome kit (card with leds attached) or can you just buy the bulbs a straight plug and play in replacement of the regular bulb?

Eastcoastrunner - This will not work on your 2003 runner. I can help you put together a kit that will work on your 2003 though.

Cosby11 - You would need to get the 194 high power led bulbs for the reverse lights on your vehicle.

Putco has started making most of their LED products in house (right in story city, IA) which was the cause of these delays. I completely agree that the switch could have been handled differently to minimize delays however we did not have a say about that. The good news is that everything is back in order and many of the products are now made in the USA which updated components (brighter LEDs).

As for what happened to Mysticz, I honestly do not know. I can tell you that we have sold hundreds if not thousands of LED dome lights and the failure rate is super super slim. The nice thing is that Putco is super easy to deal with if there is an issue and they truly stand behind their automotive LED bulbs when needed.

I also have no clue what happened to the rear dome LED, maybe the mounts where just a slight to wide but the new replacement I just put in fit perfect.

It might have just been one of a million thing because all the rest of my LED's from interior to exterior are running with no issues.
