preventive maintenance: injector cleaning?

so I bought this 99 4runner with low mileage (225,000 haha) I just got done pulling the engine to do maintenance items (t/b, w/p, valve job, pcv, radiator, clutch). I was wondering if I should send my injectors out to get them checked and cleaned? i want to button up the engine and have no problems down the road that I can address now. Any opinions appreciated!

Couldn't hurt, as long as you're in there. I just had mine done by Advanced Injector in Arizona... $17 each, which included new seals and rings and return shipping.

I've used it twice. Each time I developed exhaust valve trouble shortly after. Could be coincidence, but I think I won't use it again.

Bad compression, popping exhaust, exhaust gases/smoke under the valve cover.

well, I would be but the engine is already pulled out. I was just asking if it was a good idea to send them out. At a price of $15-23 each, I think its good affordable insurance to have them cleaned.

If i was in to it as far as you are, I would send them out.

I don't see them mentioned much on this site, but they get lots of love on yotatech.com and my experience with them was stellar.
