I like my 5th gen because it has maximum off-road prowess, the KDSS makes it better offroad and onroad than both the 4th gen V8 and the jeep unlimited rubi!
my wife's mustang sucks off-road!

Look at your damn post - the top row.
Then where the quote is - is what i said not you.
Example: a quote should look like this in your text box. I have to use the squiggly things instead of brackets (but use the brackets to make it work correctly) so it doesn't actually show up as a quote. It has to look like this to work.

The most recent stock Mustang GT is making just over 410 hp and runs in the high 12s with a good driver. With an average driver you will see around 13.0. This puts it almost dead even with the M3 and ISF. I consider the Mustang GT the best "Bang For the Buck" performance car out there (in its class). I would choose it over the M3 in a heartbeat!
The previous stock Mustang GT made just over 300 hp and put it almost dead even with the IS350. The reason why the IS was/is a little quicker is because of the gearing (4.10) and its ease to launch.
As far as the 335i (stock), they are dead even with the IS350. The BIG difference is they can be modded easily to run in the LOW 11s. The drawback with the 335i is they have serious reliability problems that cannot be fixed.

A lot of people have high pressure fuel pump problems (i have had 4 in 47k miles), people also have the turbo come apart (never happened to me or anyone I know) just have read about it on the e90 forum.
I will say that the 3.0L straight 6 is one of the best engines ever made. It has a similar rep as a 22r.

Thanks. I know you don't "know" but what are your thoughts on the new 2012?
I've had two 3 series sedans previously and never had a issue which is why I was surprised to hear about quality problems. That said I have not stayed up to date with them in the last few years.

The 2012's are supposedly fixed. The only BMWs that are flawed are 2007+ with turbo systems - because they run a extra high pressure fuel pump. I love mine, but it's a very expensive car to operate. My tires are $430 each and last 20k max...upkeep on the car over 50k miles is pretty expensive and mostly so complicated you can't work on it your self. I'd find a 2011 CPO 335i do you get a 100k warranty free and let someone else take the $15,000 drive off the lot tax. These are not toyotas and don't hold there value like a Toyota.
