The funny part is this was a big Toyota dealer... they had hundreds of cars but the used car department is run by a bunch of scumbags... they did do me the favor of driving me back to the airport haha... oh well I wont make that mistake twice.

However I did just find a white 2014, 38k miles every option for 34,200, car is actually a non smoker! And is very clean inside and out. Seems like prices up in Boston are higher than elsewhere but what do you guys think of the price?

For a Limited trim? That's a good price in my area. The 12-13 Limited are still fetching low 30s. The 13 Limited I looked at was $34 and had ~40k miles. These are all at Toyota dealerships and were CPO vehicles covering 7YR/100k.

You read the whole thread. OP is referring to the 2nd car he found after he got hosed by the douche bag dealer and found a NON smoker vehicle. OP is asking about the price of the 2nd non smoker car.

We just picked up a CPO 2015 sr5 base model that had heated leather seats added brand new with 36k miles on the clock. It had been for sale for 6months(watched it for many days on cargurus.com) started at $34950. I got it for $30k.

Both are solid non smokers but I feel like either is a good buy if they were 1k dollars less?

Trying to pull the trigger in the next week or two but its pretty incredible how much these things hold their value when purchased at a dealer!

Well your car looks great! but definitely out of our budget, we're looking at the 2014 with 38k tonight, they agreed to honer the previous price of 34,200 plus dealer fee, so we'll see how it looks when we get there.

Here in Colorado 4runners and tacomas are like gold. That being said I just bought a 2015 SR5 premium with 40k mileage on it. It was certified. I paid 35k otd with the wrap extended warranty to cover it for 7 years 100,000 miles. Selling price before taxes was just over 31k and they discounted the extended warranty.

It seems like dealers seem to think the limited is gold compared to the SR5 around here, and of course because this is the wife's new vehicle it needs to be limited. I saw a 2014 trail premium for 33k with 24k miles yesterday and would have picked that up!

I would probably get the 2014. I think all around there are noticeable improvements on the 2014+ models compared 2010-2013. I think the Limited's the biggest would have to be the heated AND cooled perforated leather seats as compared to the 2013 which would only have heated seats. Entune system, gauge cluster, brake lines (no more squishy brakes), projector headlights, and LED tail lights are all better in the 2014+ models to name a few big changes. Even though the 2014 might have 10k more miles it's not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things since they'll last 250k anyways. I would give both a test drive and see which one you like best. Price is close enough that it probably doesn't matter.

Any comments on if the 14's are worth it to get over the 12-13's? I personally like the styling on the older ones.. The ones you posted though would be 3-5k above my budget and I am really trying to stay below 30k for the vehicle price with under 40-50k. I feel like at every price point you can always spend another 5k and get exactly what you want but then all you do is look at the next 5k higher price point! need to set the limit somewhere.

There are very few differences. Slightly nicer interior, brake squish sound seems to have been eliminated, projector headlights (NOT HID still). 99% of the vehicle is the same. The difference is that you can get a 12' for a somewhat discounted price. A 14' with that many miles will have you wondering why you didn't just buy new.

Is that OTD including dealer fee taxes and new plates? if so I need to have you help me get a new one instead!

We put a deposit on the 2014 with 38k on it, no running boards so we're working with them to put some on for the 34,200 dollar price. no CPO but i am not really worried about that. with taxes and everything included we'll be in at under 37k OTD driving home. all the new ones I saw started at the LOWEST 39K and that would us at around 42K OTD and thats more than we wanted to spend on a family hauler.

Any recommendations on running boards if the dealer pushes back on putting factory ones on?

This past weekend I picked up a 2010 SR5 4WD with 61k on the clock and paid $19,500. Felt like I robbed a bank when I left the dealership lol. 2 year Toyota care thrown in and a 3 year paint protection as well.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I'm not able to post my own. I'm looking at a couple different options (located in Canada, FWIW).

Option 1
2015 4Runner Trail Edition
101,000 KM (~60,000 Miles)

Option 2
2017 4Runner TRD Off-Road
26,000 KM (~16,000 Miles)
$46,000

The question: is 1/4 the miles and a few years of warranty coverage worth the extra ~$13,000 or is there any other factor that would make you pick one over the other? Both bone stock single owners with clean accident history. How much frame rust is reasonable on either of these?

As a side question, is KDSS standard equipment for these in Canada? I don't see it as an option on the site for new ones but I'm not sure about the past.
