11k seems a tad bit high to me. I would try to drop it more. I entered the info into KBB and they were saying around 7-8ish. Maybe a high 8
Also vehicle it's at a dealership, I did the blue book and came out to 10900 retail, I guess I'm gonna jump on it it has all the features and color I want!!!!

In this area that would be a good price for a mint 4Runner with only 77K miles on it.
I got a 2002 Sport Edition in great shape (not mint) but really nice, with numerous mods already done, Tundra front brakes, Nice new tires on Toyota FJ rims, 3" lift, OME 891/883 and new shocks, full set Weather Tech mats, nice brush guard and lights.
It had more than double the mileage though at 158,000 but had all receipts since 2003, full record of all oil changes etc.
I thought I flat out stole it for $7,700.
So $3000 more for 80,000 less miles and in mint condition doesn't sound that far off to me.
Now I just for the heck of it did a KBB on a mint 2002 Sport with 77K and it came up with $11,397 in my area.

I guarantee you can squeeze it for 10500 out the door. Even at this price they are still making profit.....get as low as possible or get some free stuff thrown in with it...

Man I tried they where asking 12400 and the lowest was 11k. I'm gonna jump on it since not to long ago I was going back and forward on the price for a silver one and someone else bought it right away for the asking price. So I dnt want the same thing to happen again
I say unless you're into the sport of finding a killer deal don't screw around. If it's what you're looking for and you can afford it don't delay- someone else will buy it. Getting a good deal is nice and all, but a truck that's what you want and in great condition is worth paying a little extra for. A dealer in my area could easily get the asking price and more on the one you're looking at. They don't negotiate down very far on the price because they know they don't have to. FWIW, good Runners near where I live often go for more than NADA retail in private sales. Unless there is something wrong with it (get a CarFax or Autocheck report) I bet it won't last long at 11k. If it was in that 8k range it would have sold within hours of being listed.
That seems high, but it IS from a dealership. Make sure you get the down low on the maintenance, it's possible at that low of mileage that it hasn't even had a timing belt, and it's definitely ready for one. Items like that would be a good case for getting a lower price!!
Your defiantly right!!! I try to negotiate hard for another 4runner like a month ago or so and someone else bought it for the asking price while I was fighting in the price. I dnt want the same thing happening to me again

I'm a dealer up here in ohio. If the vehicle was bought at a dealer auction, pm me the vin # and I can tell you what the dealer paid for it. Also remember the dealer auction buy price might be low and that doesnt account for items that needed fixed (tires, brakes, etc ) .I'm willing to check it out for u.

How can you guarantee that?
You are not just asking the dealer to drop $500 more, you are asking them to drop $500 and another $1000+ in taxes and fees.
Not knowing enough about the vehicle such as trim level and options, nobody can say for sure. In my area if you enter in a sport with no added options, it gets a KBB value of about $10600 add a couple options and it could vary well be worth $11k. A limited edition starts out almost $12,700.
That being said, dealerships use NADA which will usually give it a slightly higher value and both books are a GUIDELINE and not a definitive value so yeah, it is sounds like a good deal to very good deal.
Buy it if you like it.

Wow 6500 that's once in a life time opportunity!!!! I'm definitely buy in this on I'll pay the 11k.

That is a killer deal but I am going to guess it is not from a dealership.
Still a killer deal but we don't know the circumstances of the sale.
Could be the seller needed it gone fast or could be he/she didn't know the value of the vehicle. Those deals come by occasionally but not usually through dealerships.

If I saw an 01 with 74k for 6500 I would suspect there was something wrong with it- salvage title, odometer problem, etc. I wouldn't necessarily be right, but that's what I would assume until proven wrong. I'm sure there is someone every once in a while who doesn't know the value or is willing to let one go cheap for some reason, but no dealer is going to be stupid enough to sell a Runner for thousands less than it's worth.
Shipping is a PITA. I bought one on the other side of the country and pursued shipping for a while. Ended up hiring my nephew to drive it for me. If you ship I think you are probably stuck with going through a broker, and the way that works is pretty crappy. I can fill you in on that. Unless it's a really good trucking route the best option usually is to get a one way plane ticket and drive it home yourself.
