Pro Comp Help

Just bought a set of used Pro Comp 7089 17x8. Seller didn't know the backspace but looking online it looks like they just come 4.5.

Just tried mounting them and it seemed like the lugs were a little short, not a whole lot of bite with the lug nuts. Is this normal going from stock LE rims to Pro Comps?

The seller had them mounted on his FJ Cruiser for 18,000 miles so I assume they worked fine for him and I thought would be an even swap onto a 5th Gen 4Runner.

It should be an even swap. I'm hoping/assuming you're using aftermarket lugnuts. Because the shank style factory lugnut will NOT work with those wheels.

Like Ducmonsta says, you need to use after-market acorn head lug nuts.
