Pro Comp poly spacer lift???

So I found this poly spacer lift from Pro Comp in my Performance Products catalog and Im seriously considering it. Its $79.99 and I know that I will get a bunch of people saying you get what you pay for and I understand that. What I am thinking is if I can get a good year or two out of this lift, then buy the better lift when I have more money then its completely worth 79.99 to me.

My main concern is that this lift will not come with everything I need, or do more damage than good.

I do not really do any serious offroading, a little here or there but this truck is my daily driver and I mostly just want a little lift to make it look a little more aggressive. So does anyone have any thoughts or experience on this matter. I am new to this scene as I recently came from the import scene. so as long as this lift will not do any damage I will probably buy it as a temporary. Thoughts???

A spacer lift will last the life time of the vehicle, you will definately get a good year or two from it!
The only thing I would suggest researching is shock absorbers/struts. I'm not sure how much ilft you can do without risking damage from over extension or compression.

I just realized that this is only the front spacer lift. What would be my options for lifting the rear 2.5-3"

Why do all these companies make front lift kits and no rear lift kits???

A lot of people use LC rear springs for the 4Runner rears.
Gets 2" or so.

Well I have a complete 2.5"daystar comfort ride spacer kit. I too wanted a cheap lift, and it did what it was supposed to, lift the truck. To be honest I am pretty happy with it.
Pros- CHEAP! You get a full 2.5" lift, where as 2.5"-3" replacement springs will settle just a bit. (IMO) a bit stiffer ride. No need to replace shocks or coils (unless of course they need replacement anyway) And its cheap!
Cons- From what I read, a bit more stress on joints, not as much articulation, stiff ride.

Your options include buying either a rear lift spacer which is very cheap, or (and this is what I would do, and plan on doing in the near future) buying seperate rear lift coils. www.toyteclifts.com carries 2" and 3" rear lift coils. Just remember if you buy rear lift coils its a pretty good idea to replace your rear shocks with extended shocks. Hope this helps even the slightest bit

Keep this is mind tho, if your truck is in need of shock and coil replacement in the next year or two (due to high milage or heavy use ie. sagging rear end etc.) save up and go with the complete suspension lift as the spacer's may be a waste.
