Problem with wedge bulb

I have a problem to get wedge bulb out of my headlight. Does anyone know how to change them? I tried to pull it off, but it doesn't move. I don't want to put any force because this is plastic and I'm afraid I can break it.

You have to turn the socket counter clock wise to take it out but its pretty tight up in their unless you have normal size hands hands GL!

It is supposed to turn counterclockwise. TRD04RUNNER is probably right -- it's just tight. Can you get a pair of pliers on it?

Toyota looks like made this space for Japanese people with small hands. Mine doesn't fit there. Thanks, I'll try tomorrow with pliers. It's too late now.

See if you can pull up on the tabs holding the headlight in place and pull it forward out of the socket as if you're removing the headlight housing... Its a little more work, but it makes it a little easier to access those sockets... When finished, put the housing back into place and slide the locking tabs back down...

Good idea. Thank you. I'll check this out, hope it would work.

Do NOT use pliers, you'll destroy the socket. Take out the battery if you can't reach in there. Good luck.
