Guys, I went through similar posts and didntt find a "to the point" answer.
I'm trying to program a FOB remote that I got from amazon but I failed. I followed thr programinfg instructions but it seems that I can't get the confirmation from the ECU that it entered the programing mode. Is it because I'm using the silver key? If yes and I need the plastic head one then I'm in deep S, as I got the car with thia one only.
I have a 2001 3rd gen with alarm(the one with indication LED on the left beside the central dif lock switxh), no immobilizerr (as far as I think) and one silver key with one keyless remote (works perfectly).
Any thoughts??
