Programming options

Anyone have a list of all the programming options available on the 4Runner? Trying to have my headlights not come on when I lock the doors with the fob. Would just like to see what I can do.

do you have the limited model or the sr5 / sport model.

limited models have a little more options.

standard models have the option to turn on or off the drl, the power locks, tailgate window, and certain things.

i used a vcx nano with the latest techstream. the mini vci is a little old and has some problems with the later techstream 13+
 
put the light delay to 0 instead of the 30 seconds, light will go off when left in on position, door open.

but light will remain on if no doors are open and stalk left in on. also if you have remote start the truck and have not wire a re-arm out to the door pin.

Is this the vcx nano thing you are talking about? I'm not familiar with it or with techstream but I'm interested in learning more - Amazon.com: VXDIAG VCX Nano Diagnose and Programming Tool Compatible for Toyota and Lexus SAE J2534 WiFi Version: Automotive

Cool, thanks. Going to have to get one to play with then. I've been wanting and trying to reprogram my remotes to unlock all doors with one click but haven't been able to do so. I have been able to program the doors to lock when I put it in drive and all doors unlock when I put it in park but that's about the extent of it.

you need the techstream to do all that, once you figure out how easy it is to use the techstream software to program keys and remotes, youll be amazed on how fast it is.
