Project Stormtrooper (01 SC build)

what does it mean to "wet the whole thing"? just asking as I also recently installed the very same exhaust system, clamps and all.

Have any clearance issues? I spent an hour trying to tweak the rear pipe. Either it would hit the frame and clear the hitch or clear the frame and hit the hitch. So I am going to have to grind on some of the hitch off.

there might be some clearance issues. hearing some banging when going over speed humps, etc. haven't had a chance to get underneath and check it out yet

Ended up having to grind a small piece out of my hitch. Other than that clearance is great now.

Picked a few things up from Toyota today. TRD dynamic tensioner and nose cone oil change kit for my supercharger service. Also got a new belt just not pictured.

In other news I ordered a set of TYC headlights from Amazon. My wife had a few gift cards so I got both for $52 shipped. Ordered some hi lift rear cargo mounts from Sonoran Steel. Also called Shrockworks and my sliders should be here end of the week or beginning of next week. So excited for these. Only a 3 month wait. Going to pick up a scan gauge on that GB also.

Your rig is looking great. How do you like the CBI front bumper? That one has been on my list of a while.

Thanks. I like the bumper. Just a heads up make sure you mount your winch before installing the bumper or you will end up doing the work twice. For some reason the right side kind of sticks out a little. Just my OCD kicking in.

Overall great product. I received my bumper just over a week after placing my order. Comes nicely packaged. When I received it and packed everything there was no hardware or stickers. Called CBI and they overnighted me stickers, hardware, and extra turn signals. Really thinking about picking up a rear bumper from them also.

That's the plan, Front and rear bumper from CBI. It's a lot of $$ though, but I am sure it's worth it. I've seen a few folks with the rear bumper, it's pretty awesome.

You should do it, i did begin by an h4 hid big difference from stock but the projector retrofit with hid is even better.....go for it you wont regret it.....

Another update. My hi lift mounts showed up today.

Mounted the scanguage. Only temporary until I make a mount and put it where I want.

Nice new truck to by the way OP, you got a great deal.

Thanks. Still got parts to install. More updates to come.

Went to the Toytec customer appreciation day. Saw lots of nice rigs. I will be there one day. Didn't win any of the raffles. But between me and my wife we caught 4 t-shirts. Also picked up extended brake lines and extended bump stops while I was there.

Think I talked my wife into picking one of these up.

All of our shirts.

New parts.

Saw some guy at the show wearing this Yeti shirt. I went to Cabela's and picked one up. Wanted a Yeti bottle opener but didn't have any.
