And here's a picture of the rr switch on my 09 Trail Edition. (along with my tiny swiss army knife). note--no DAC switch. This was not included on the TE package.

I beg to differ. I have a genuine 4th gen TRAIL EDITION. It says so on the side of the T4R and on the window sticker. And, it has a locking rear differential (standard equipment on the TE).

wow they didnt make many of those did they? i have never seen one in person, and cant even find many 09 any trim levels for sale around where i live

Well turtle head carry on and good luck, the rest of you folks remember a snatch strap should be used carefully the forward energy needs to be be transfered into the stap in a quick fluid motion not yanked from dead slack. Yank any strap or chain or cable and it can be deadly.
