Thanks for the compliments! Honestly the only thing I don't like about my runner is the color! When I went looking, I wanted anything but black (black truck in the desert... :mad2

, but this was the only one I could find with all the options I wanted. lol. Oh well, I've loved every minute of it.
Let me see if I can explain my set up for ya, its pretty basic really, setup just like any 12v circuit with a relay.
The switch runs from the battery - to the switch - to the relay with 18 gauge wire. All this does is trip the relay on and off. On the ground side of the relay, it runs through a pressure switch that opens up at 100psi, and closes at 75psi - then to frame ground. This is what cycles the compressor on and off depending on pressure.
For the actual power side of the compressor, I ran a 2guage cable from the battery to the back cuby where I've got everything mounted. It splits to my inverter, and to the air compressor relay. From the relay it runs over to the compressor. Everything is fused of course, a couple amps for the switch circuit, and I think 60 amps going to the compressor.
The relay I used is a ford starter relay style, but its designed for constant duty load, like this one....
RELAY
It's also worth noting, that on my setup, I split the tank from the compressor, I also ditched all the original regulator and pressure switch. (The regulator never worked from day one.) I ran the original tank for a long time on my taco, and ended up going to a smaller tank on the Runner just for installation reasons. In fact I just installed it finally last weekend.
Hope some this helps and its not TO confusing, feel free to ask any questions if you want, or want to see any pics of it.
