Push Button Replacement??

Hi All,

Rather odd question here, but, do any of you know if you can buy a 'button' that looks like the buttons on the dashboard, but without any lettering / symols? You know, the one that looks like the ones used for the DAC, center dif lock, etc.

I seem to remember someone selling them on ebay but i cant find them now. i was wondering if there were any part stores that sold them. i have looked at some of the online part stores but couldnt find any.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It would depend on what year 4runner they changed with each new model

Its for the 4th gen 4Runner. I have a V8 sr5.

I dont like where the dealer installed the remote starter disable switch. Its down by the emergency brake and my big feet occasionally hit it and turn it off, without me knowing about it.

I was thinking about getting a button that looked like the centre dif button, but plain with not picture on it, and hooking up the starter disable switch to the button and place it to the left of the steering wheel. On the base sr5, there are 3 empty slots where the 'blank' button sits.

The new 05 Tacoma shares the same dash and buttons as the T4R. I'm SURE you can outsource it from them...

Just go to your dealer and get the push button for an 05 Taco, they are exactly the same as the 4th gen.
