I yanked out the old carpet, it was ****ty from the last owner not taking care of it. I also found 3 joints, and a knife lol.

A good thing I found was that 2nd gens have a drain, so I guess if you were to rhino line the whole interior you could just hose it like jeeps.

SV, I picked up 2 rolls at Autozone, 10 bucks a roll. Its made from recycled bottles and tires. I only had to cut the edges and tuck them under the center console. The hardest part is cutting the holes out for the seat belt and seat bolts lol.

You'll want to use that adhesive glue in an orange can w/ a blue cap. Forget whats it called, but its good stuff.

You use one roll on the pass side, one roll on driver side, roll it longway towards the rear seats (which are removed) and cut and trim, meeting in the middle under the console

If you want to do the 'bed' part, you'll need a 3rd roll. Mine is rhinolined so I didnt bother.

Tnx for sharing. I peeled mine out and washed in front-loading machine. Clean and smells fresh now

Did you replace carpet padding? I'd like to replace mine with something that would help dampen noise and further insulate from heat coming up from drive train hump. (Already P&S'd the floor and body panels). Now just looking for best bang for buck padding before I put the orig carpet back on.

I used padding that goes in the house under regular carpet, works for me lol.
