Put on the new suspension

Thanks to the great info on the forum I took the plunge and installed FJ springs and Bilstein 5100's all the way around on my 2004 T4R! I've only had it on a couple of days but so far so good. I got about 1.5" in the front and 1" in the back more out of it. Other than that it is completely stock.

Looks good. I have a new purchase on a 2008 T4R SR5...just did the LED conversion (partial) and plan on some kind of suspension upgrade. Seems like the 5100's and FJ springs are the way to go. Also maybe a airlift 1000 too. Any good pricing on the 5100's and the FJ's .? Did you have a shop to the install ? Can you give a rough $$$ amount on the install. cheers, Mojav

Mojav - LED install/swap is a breeze if you follow JA's webpage for how he did his. Also make sure you do the license plate if you haven't already, it's very easy and definitely worth the investment!

I used the .85" setting. I just got new tires last month so when it is time again to switch I may change the setting and put bigger tires on it and put a lift on the rear as well.

Thanks Mojav! I ordered the Billies from Downsouth Motorsports and all 4 cost me $290 shipped. I got lucky and found some 2007 FJ springs from a local guy and paid $40 for all 4. I let my mechanic do all the work and he charged me $525. This was the labor charge to install all 4 springs and shocks, both front CV axles, change the oil, and grease and lube everything. I know I couldn't have done it myself and I trust the guys so I didn't mind paying the $525.
