question about OME lift kits and springs

I'm finally getting around to getting rid of my spacer lift....local off road shop says they have the best luck with OME lifts ok that being said I have an aftermarket steel bumper and 12k winch....my question is which springs to get.....any and all input is appreciated, thank you

It depends how much lift you want to get out of it. If you're looking for a 3" lift, OME 886, if you want a little less the 885s

As pictured, 885 front and 895 rear. Estimated 2.25-2.5" front lift, bumper is ~150# with 70# winch + skids.

I’ve got the 885 and Toytec RCC2.0 rear with the V8, great lift!

Front is decent, rear is stiff unloaded. Since adding a rear tire carrier it's better, especially with a full tank of gas. You won't get the same ride quality you'd get with a nice set of 2.5" coilovers, but for the price its decent and it'll hold up to a boatload of abuse. That said, I do plan to eventually switch to Kings and dualrate springs in the rear

Alignment is great, the lower height the easier to get a solid alignment. I'm at almost 6° caster lane:

I don't have mine installed yet, but I went with a combo of OME and Bilstein.
I ordered mine from https://bilsteinlifts.com/ and went with the follwoing combo:

Front 1.5-2″ Lift OME Coils for 07-14 Toyota FJ Cruiser & 2003-2017 4Runner (OME 885) You'll probably want the 886

Rear 2" lift OME 895

Bilsetin 5100s

I haven't had time to install yet, but I anticipate I will like it.

Depends on the weight of

bumper and winch combo. OME coil rates correspond to the amount of additional the vehicle carries. If you go with the OME coils use the OME struts that are valved for those coils...
