Recently(as in the last week or so), my truck's been kinda weird with the steering. On Tuesday, it drove straight with the wheel centered in the morning, but when I was coming back from school, it was straight with the wheel cocked off to the right. Same thing with Wednesday, then it just stayed off to the right.
Went ahead and did an alignment today(Sears, got the 1 year for $105), and the toe was out a bit. He also said my camber was adjusted out max but still out of spec due to my spacer lift. He also relayed to me that his tech said the bushings on the rack need to be replaced.
Now, I'd already replaced the whole rack and pinion itself due to prior circumstance, so would that make sense? I did reuse the 190k-mile rubber bushings that were on it before, so it's not out of the question. Also, could CV's be causing a mild pull or any other issues? Both my CV's have torn boots on the top, but they're not making any excessive clicking other than very occasional. Also, something does click when I come to a stop from a low speed, like backing up.
