Question about whether I'll need wheel spacers?

I've got an '06 Limited 4WD, and am going to install a Toytec 3" Ultimate Lift Kit with front Bilstein 5100 coilovers and rear Bilstein 5100's, as well as BFG KM2's in 285/70R17 mounted on FJ Cruiser wheels. At the same time, I'm going to install Total Chaos Upper Control Arms (A-arms).

Does anybody have experience with this setup to know whether I'll need Spidertrax or All Pro wheel spacers (adapters)?

Also, will I have to do the body mount chop?

I would guess that you won't need spacers, I believe the fj wheels sit out a little farther than the stock wheels. Also aftermarket ucas will help as well. Body mount chop is most likely going to be needed, no way of knowing until you get them on, peoples results seem vary with this.

Will look alot better with adapters, but I dont think you "have" to have them.

The install is complete, and I've been driving it since Christmas. Here's what I've found:

Although I haven't flexed it out, in day-to-day driving, the only interference I get is if I turn all the way to the right stop, the lugs on the inside of the left tire rub against the sway bar. I've also moved the inner fender liner forward at the front of both wheelwells, though I haven't trimmed the bumper ends. Also doesn't look like I'll be needing to do the body mount chop. Of course, this may change when I start driving off-road and start flexing it out...

To try to overcome the interference with the sway bar, I've decided to go with front & rear AllPro spacers, which I'll be picking up this Friday. I'll post again after they're installed and I've driven it a little.
