I am working on a 2000 Limited 4x4 that had the driveline removed and fuse pulled to hide that it was stuck in 4wheel drive.
Drive line removed to help MPG's and fuse pulled to hide the flashing drive indicator on the gauges.
I have a new switch on order but its coming from the East Coast and in the meantime I removed the switch in there now, cleaned it with contact cleaner and it seemed to get better continitunity with my meter but after installing it again its still stuck in 4H
The Runner shifts in and out of 4Low just fine but just wont get out of 4Hi
It also has the Auto button
My question is: Does anyone know if the relays will still click when you move the J shifter from H2/H4 to H4L when their switch went bad?
I get nothing when moving the lever up and down between H2/H4 and H4L
