Question regarding switching tires

I just recently switched over to the XD Addicts rim while going with the Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2012 Limited. Not sure if it is me or not, but the brakes feel a bit more spongy to me. Also, when depressing the pedal, it seems to make a bit of a noise hard to explain. Like a low hissing air noise when pushing down? Any ideas?
