Questions about a lift.

Looking to purchase a lift really soon. I was going to order the OME 3in from wheelersoffroad.com. I started looking and its actually cheaper to buy the Bilstein struts and OME springs seperately. A buddy of mine lifted his rig with OME and seems a little stiff.

After sine research I think I should order 906 rears. Not to sure about the fronts. I have no intention of adding an ARB bumper or anything like that anytime soon. Wondering what I would need for the front. It seems like I am only going to get about 2in out of that set up. Can i run spacers as well?

Has anyone else went this route with there lift? If so what is your opinion on it or am I just better doing the OME. I do some wheeling and plan on getting some AT as well. With saying that just wondering what tire size yall are running with amount of lift. I do not want to trim my bumpers if I do not have to.

Wanna hear some feed back guys. Want to order lift by the end of the week.

It's about $1250-ish but a very well regarded.

I have OME springs in the back ($190), Eibachs up front ($160), and Tundra Bilstein 5100s for everything ($360) and it was ~$700 and is a really good ride in my opinion. Food for thought.

I got the Eibachs and OME springs from Toytec, and the 5100 shock set from Down South Motorsports here: Toyota Tundra Front Bilstein 5100 Ride Height Adjustable Shocks 99-2006 w/ Optional Rear Shocks

IF you want the rear softer go with the 5125 billys from toytec I love mine
I just wish the LC 7.5 wraps would settle down more as I have a 3in rake right now and the back could run better over bumps and what not a lot better if it was slightly less rake.

My advice is if you're going to do it, you might as well do it right the first time. The best on/off road performance seems to be the eiback/bilstein combo that Toytec runs. I know I really like it.

I have replied to a couple of these with my $0.02, so here ya go....

I got the adjustable front suspension from Sway-A-Way which are Eibach coil overs. 0"-2.5" adjustable. The rears I went with OME 898 and Bilstein 5100s. Love the ride, love the look, no need for diff drop. 32" tires on 16" wheels. No rubbing, no cutting. Mileage is pretty close to what it was stock too. I'm sure I lost a little, but not noticeable.

Is there a difference at all between the Bilstein's for the tundra and the 4runner? One have a better advantage then the other.

The tundra ones have 5 adjustments points instead of 3. You can get more lift out if them. The ride is supposed to be a little harsher too, but depending on the springs you have you won't really notice a difference. I have the tundra ones on the second perch. Ride is awesome but I will cranking it up one more notch.
