Thought I'd share a few pics! Took a trip from Southern California over to Phoenix to pick up a friend, then up to Utah.
Arrived in Monument Valley around 4am for sunrise pics with that great backdrop. With no sleep we headed up to Moab and Arches national park. got dumped on by a huge storm for a couple of hours.
Camped next to the Colorado river with a nice bonfire. Ventured around arches the next morning, then down to canyonlands. Then back down to Flagstaff for another night of camping. First long trip in the 4Runner since I bought it, hit 100k on the way back. Averaged 21 mpg going 80 with a loaded up car. Not too bad! Look forward to many more trips in this thing!
