quick transmission question....

so i have a slight leak somewhere....under my front passenger tire theres a small puddle from time to time and my whole lower control arm has residue....but anyways, my question is. is there a light that comes on when your low on transmission fluid?

im a little over obsessive about it....ill literally pull over every 5 min to check the fluid level lol, im just hopeing theres like a light that comes on when your low....i dont want to chance it....and i still have 4 more days of work till i can take it all apart...

So there's a small puddle from time to time under your passenger tire, and your LCA has residue?

Are you sure it's transmission fluid?

The residue could be from a torn CV boot leaking grease, and, the "puddle from time to time" could be your AC. That's usually where the AC drains to, right near the passenger tire.

But, to answer your question, no. There is not a light that comes on when your tranny fluid is low.

When your fluid gets too hot, yes. But not too low.
