Rack and Pinion Question

I may be in the market for a new OEM Rack. My aftermarket one seems to be going out, and it's been in less than a year.

Looking at some parts websites, I see they list a rack for the 4runner, for the Pre-runner Tacoma, and one for the non Pre-runner Tacoma.

I thought they were all the same though.

The non Pre-runner Tacoma one costs less, but seems to be the same rack all together.

Is there a difference between any of these?

The non prerunner might be referring to the 5 lug Tacoma, so be careful. What sites are you looking at? I went with The Rack Doctor and found it to be very simple and a rebuilt OEM rack. My steering feels great and it helped reduce my vibrations at higher speeds. Plus they have a lifetime replacement so that's a plus.

I was looking on Camelback Toyota's website. Does the 5 lug Tacoma have a different rack and pinion than the 6 lug Tacoma?
