This is a video of a leak I found last night, not sure what caused it. Has anybody else had this problem on their 4Runner? Everybody raves over the reliability of 3rd gen 4Runners but I bought this car from my parents when it has 194K, it's at 202K and ive already broken down and now I have this problem.

If you've done this before, let me know anything I may need to know before going ahead as I'm 17 and will be installing this myself to save money.
Thanks

I've done a few rack swaps on mine, but that doesn't look like it's the rack that's leaking (could be me not being fully awake) but the fluid from the rack should be red as they use atf
If it is the rack though its not that had to swap, there are 4 bolts that hold the rack in place, the 2 tie rod nuts, and the 2 lines on the driver side. The vertical bolt that holds the rack in place must be removed from the top.
As for the lines I would definitely recommend line wrenches to avoid rounding them off
You'll probably need to center the new rack which has been my biggest problem, and then go in for an alignment

Looks like something dripping on top of the rack. Or somebody used clear PS fluid, and if they did you'd have to flush and refill anyway.
