I'd like to share my experience with a very worthwhile product.
My toyota engine splash guards are brittle, stretched, sagging, and the fasteners are complete junk. I've been repairing these garbage fasteners to get rid of the loud rattle on a continuous basis since 2015.
It was my intention to create a PDF template of the splash guards, and make some new ones myself out of a thicker, better material than the pseudo cardboard/rubber trash that came stock. As part of this plan, I decided to get replacements and copy them.
Well-- what I quickly discovered is that suitable material isn't cheap. And my free time is worth more now than ever before. So I decided to check out Rad Rubber Design's offering.
They offer a few options for the 4runner, including an option if you have a body lift- which is pretty sweet. I got the KDSS version, with MUCH improved fasteners for $49.50.
I've got to say, I don't think I could source the materials, the excellent fasteners, and the value of my time for this price. This is the material and the fasteners that toyota should have used. I am extremely pleased with these. These are priced exactly right in my opinion, if not on the lower end of the spectrum. I have no desire to try to make my own when these are available at this price, with much improved fasteners.
So no more rattling/missing clips. No more sagging torn engine splash guards. These are up to the task of a nasty salty winter, and I'm looking forward to wheeling with them in the spring. Great product, great price, and the owner replied to a shipping request I had within minutes. Two thumbs up.
I have no affiliation, just a happy customer from Canada.

I will update installed pictures once I get to the carwash. It's a salty mess today.
