gravman said:It is a power antenna and I believe the motor still works fine, I can hear it running when I start the vehicle and when I shut it off, lol took me awhile to figure out what the sound was. No idea about a white cable. Previous owner told me someone broke the antenna off and I haven't taken the time to really even look at it yet. It's got a couple other minor mechanical problems I''ve been trying to get fixed first (broken motor mount and an intermittent tranny problem that I think we traced to a shredded vacuum line).
cadolfan said:i'm glad i found this site. yeah the dealer wants about $90 to replace the mast. i think i'll try it myself. are there any diagrams posted anywhere? it seems like the hardest part is feeding mast correctly.
