Radio Code???

I've searched and couldn't find the answer I was looking for so I figured I'd throw the question out there. I'm getting ready to add a Gentex mirror to my 04 Sport and was wondering when I disconnect the battery, am I going to need a code to get my radio to work again once I reconnect the battery terminal, or will it automatically work. I had an Accord a few years ago and everytime you disconnected the battery you had to enter in a 6 digit code to get the friggen thing to work again. Just wanted to make sure I wouldn't need the same thing with my runner.

what kind of radio do you have? on the navigation unit i don't need any codes after disconnecting the battery.

I have the JBL and didn't need to enter any codes.

And I had the base (now Scion HU) and didn't need one. Not even sure you could set one like you could on the Camry.

If I’m not mistaken radios that use a code on a new car come with the code disabled until YOU enter a code. Once you have done that, you will need that code when disconnected.
