radio display

Ok, this is a very minor question. but I've seen in pictures the radio in the truck will display "4RUNNER". mine doesn't do it, unless I'm doing something wrong. The first set of pics in the owners pic thread shows it, and I've sen it other places too. does it matter what radio you have? i have the base radio from the SR5. also, it wont display the info from any stations. i was told that's what the text button was for. i know certain stations aren't giving off a digital signal, but it wont display any. my jeep before this showed some info. any thoughts?

Radio OFF>start 4runner>4RUNNER Displays on radio, screen then goes dark.

Why? I don't know.

You hit the TEXT button when you see the MSG indicator lit up. This usually just displays the song title, artist or extra station ID. As far as it not displaying 4RUNNER on start up, dunno, you'll have to find another way of remembering what truck your driving! :driving:

hahah thanks. Yea, idk why I'm concerned. I figured if I turned it off, it would display the whole time the key was on. Would have been cool IMO. Oh well. Thanks folks, glad to hear my radio just isn't messed up
