Radio stays on when ignition is on

My radio runs as long as the key is on. None of the radio controls work. For a short time time before this started happening, the orange lights that backlight the radio controls would blink on and off. Now those lights do not light up at all. Also, the radio screen is not lit up, and does not display anything.

Any ideas on what is causing this?

What year is it? My 2014 had a similar problem when it was new. There is a TSB at Toyota to fix it. It probably does not apply to new models but not sure.
