Rain calls for new wipers, but what about the back?

For my front windshield, I got myself some normal rain-x wipers from Kragen today, but I dont know what to do with the back. Is there any way to replace the wiper? I really need a new one, mine is shot to hell. Do we have to get them from Toyota or can we get them elsewhere?

I recently replaced the rear wiper blade on my 01. The only direct replacement I could find was from the dealer @ a cost of $9.00. It is the complete assembly and requires removing two screws. It was a simple replacement and easier than trying to replace just the blade.

Same here, Although i use it every so often if the weather is bad. But i keep all my windows coated in the rainX wax and it works just fine when i get up to speed, It clears all the water. Even the back.

But my wiper in the back is getting bad too. Its starting to scratch a bit on the window, Does RainX make a size for the rear window?

i got a 13 inch or so from local auto parts store and just replaced the rubber blade, then greased all the joints, 3 bucks baby!

if you have the oem blades front or rear you can just buy the graphite rubber blade insert and all you have to do is slide out the old blade and slide the new one on and your good to go.

I replaced mine a year ago. I went to kragen and used the little computer thing for wiper blades and got one they said fit. I had to take just the blade out and put it in the oem wiper frame, or whatever its called. And I had to remove the metal strip inside the blade so it would have complete contact. Seemed a little janky to me. O well it worked

Hmm... for a 100% perfect fit, $9 is not a big deal.

the wiper wont engage you have to have the window completly closed...

i went to Power Toyota Irvine today. I bought a few things, one of which was a rear wiper blade insert. With my discount (I work at a Mercedes-Benz dealership), I got the thing for 3 bucks.

Not bad.
