OP: Which RR&P did you call? Try giving the Seattle/Everett WA shop a call - that's where the HQ is and Randy himself. I've been there for my initial rear ARB install and then for my re-gear. Really enjoyed the service there. I thought I had a problem after driving from WA to MT and they even offered to take care of the costs outside of their own shop, but turns out all was well.
I called the main number off of their website. To be fair the customer service guy I spoke with was very helpful. It wasn't until I spoke with their tech department that things went awry. They INSISTED it was the correct application as they read on the forums two threads where they were installed, even though the manufacturer insist its not the correct application. I will try to track down today the number for the HQ and see if maybe I can get ahold of the man himself.
I am sure that overall they have given very satisfactory service to many customers. Just not my experience.
