Rattle can truck bed liner OR line-x

About to take a bunch of odds and ends to be line-x'd...my opinion is that line s is more permanent and looks better.
But because of its higher cost, I was considering buying a couple cans of truck bed liner for the job. YES, cost is definitely a huge consideration given that a rattle can vs. line x would be $50 vs $700.....but I'm more looking for personal experiences with one or the other....

Anyone have any extreme situations to NOT go with one or another?...
Or anyone have anything to say about ABSOLUTELY going with one or the other..

I am building an off-road trailer that I'm going to bedline and looked at lots of threads on lots of forums. The consensus seems to be that most 'do it yourself' products, especially rattle can, fade to gray and get gritty pretty fast from UV light. If you want to do it yourself, the best options seem to be U-Pol Raptor (which people like but apparently doesn't have good UV protection from what I've read) or Al's Liner or Monstaliner. The ones most people say to stay away from (from the threads) are Rustoleum, Herculiner, and Duplicolor. I am debating whether to do mine (inside the bed) with Monstaliner (which will be about $200) or have it done professionally (which will be about $400). It's more money to have it done but not having to mess with it (and the clean up) is worth it to me (but I'm not looking at $700). If you do it yourself, I'd recommend going with a good system rather than the rattle cans. Surprisingly, I found that most of the do-it-yourself systems work out to about the same money (even the rattle cans add up fast on a large job). Good prep is also mandatory - you'll be scuffing the paint for a while.

i used monstaliner on my whole truck, cant say nothing bad about it, i love it and it was pretty easy to do. line x is the best but it is the cost of gold so monstaliner was what i decided on since you can do it yourself and it is still good quality. i have a whole writeup on how i did my whole truck in monstaliner if you wanna check it out
