Rattle or buzz from map light / sunglass holder

I get a regular rattle, especially when the engine is revving between 1500 - 2000 rpm. Comes from the map light/sunglass holder. Any ideas how to stop it?

i get this sometimes too, i just give it a smack and if fixes it for a few days

Had same symptom, turned out the sunvisor was not seated all the way into the retaining clip.

take it apart and look at it... maybe somethings loose?

I have that same rattle. I plan to take the unit out and put some sheet foam above it to dampen it. It might be something in the unit like the map light reflectors, but I won't know for sure until I get into it.

Its not the visor. The only way I can make it stop is to put my hand where the moonroof would be (if I had one.) I tried putting something between the dome assembly and the roof but that did not work

If any of you fix this - please post what you did. I am not the most mechanical or patient person with this stuff. Thanks
