Rausch Creek - June 23, 2013

I'm doubtful buy trying to find a way. Spent yesterday mostly on Blues, some Blacks but did slice off my valve stem 3/4 of the way up the only Red climb we did. Luckily made it to the top flat area before losing all the air.

I didn't plan on it. we have a ton of work to do Saturday. If you and/or [MENTION=49537]4ShoreRunner[/MENTION] want to reduce the drive on Sunday you guys could crash at our place Saturday night and we could leave from there Sunday morning. We are about an hour north of Baltimore and about an hour south of RC.

Really? I checked their site a week or so ago and it didn't mention it in their upcoming events section. but that's pretty cool, and all the more reason you should come and represent the 5th's.

I guess we should start ironing out the little things like what time to get there etc. I'm thinking we meet at 10? I think [MENTION=51030]joneseyyy[/MENTION] has the longest ride as [MENTION=49537]4ShoreRunner[/MENTION] will be coming from Gettysburg. what does everyone else think about a meet time?

10am sound good, but I don't mind earlier. I think we probably going to talk a little and then hit the trails. Are we going to eat on the trail or we will go somewhere? I guess [MENTION=6163]phillyd2[/MENTION] is not coming, he is probably afraid to test out my rear long travel suspension, just kidding.
 
Sorry guys, looks like a no go for me.

Jess: Alex is a friend of mine and is his 1st time out. Please keep a eye on him and try to spot him better than you do me. And whatever you do DON'T let him follow Ben up some black trails. :)

Dave, if you ever want to do a run during the week I can do any Monday thru Wednesday, practically of any week, much easier for me then on the weekend because I work practically every weekend.

Like Dave mention it will be my first time out and I would not want to be a yanker for anyone and you guys not being able to go to more advance trails because of me. So, if this is the case just let me know and I won't take it personally. All I got a set of tires and suspension and no skills offroad.

Its OK, we don't know what we're doing either. That's why we have armor! In all seriousness, you'll be fine and more than equipped.

I will be the lowest and least equipped rig out there, you have nothing to worry about!
 
I just want to confirm this is for this Sunday correct? I might be able to join you guys but will know by tonight. Anybody have experience bringing a 2 year old on the trail? I may have to bring my son.
