Heading there on Sunday the 29th with a couple of friends. Anyone interested in meeting up there that day? Let me know, maybe we can get a few T4Rs out there to show up the Jeeps. Here's a link to their website for anyone not familiar...

They have different trail levels that will accommodate stock vehicles to almost any level of build. I think in a stock TE you'd be fine on all of the green trails and a lot of the blues. There's usually a way around the more difficult obstacles you might encounter. You'd be impressed with what that truck of yours is capable of right off the showroom floor.

Yeah I have heard of the lines. Just wasn't sure how difficult the blue line was. Only way to find out. Haha

I have seen a stock Trail Team FJC on a black trail at Rausch.

General rule of thumb is stock to slightly built trucks run greens. 35" and up for blues. I have run blues in my FJ80 when it had 33s on it and it did some rubbing and banging. I was Okay with this since that is what i use that beast of a truck for. But my shiny new 4runner... I would stick to the north property and greens. It will still put a smile on your face.

I'll be up there on June 4th for the 101 course. If it were just my vehicle, I would love to get acquainted and learn on the trail with others. But with my wife, this is the best way to get our feet wet. Here's to hoping she'll love it, then we can join you next time!

I'm guessing that you'll both have a blast. My buddy did a course there a few years back in his JK Wrangler and said it was well worth it.

Plan on doing the 101 course at rausch creek in the near future as well... hopefully there will be more off road meets there and I'll def be down to join in the fun

So it sounds like the guys around PA/Mid-Atlantic with built rigs don't want to wheels them :lol: The only responses I've gotten are from people with stock trucks -WELL DONE

I have a relatively built up rig (full skids, lift, ECT) and we will be running a pretty equal mix of blue and green trails. I don't want you guys with stock trucks getting yourself deep into a blue trail and have something happen - it's rocky there. I'd feel bad. You'll run greens all day without a problem with a stock truck and some blues, but I did bash my rear diff pretty good on a blue last time out. Maybe we can all meet up and figure out how to break into smaller groups based upon the trucks that show?

I may be able to make it. I have been there with stock FJs and 4Runners. Everyone made a black or two without issue. To be honest I think there is a lack of consistency with the trail ratings. Maybe they are based on a shorter wheelbase, but there are even greens that people in moderate builds may need spotting to get past the entrance.

I came here before on my 08 T4R SR5 3" lift, 285 tires etc I was amazed at what we could accomplish and rock on thru, very interested to see what me and the trail can do
