That's why I'm taking the 101 course lol. Mine is far from stock, but until I learn correctly how to look after my investment, I have no intention of pushing the limits just yet.

We're most likely all in the same boat. I'm still making (stupidly huge) payments on mine. It is my daily driver and it does have a few scars underneath but no broken parts.

Work with what you are comfortable with. No one is going to laugh at the fact that you want to make it home in the same ride you came in. At the same time it is fun to realize what your ride can do without having to break it. I think we will all be good, ready to help each other out of things get dicey!

You hit the nail on the head. I've got to get to work on Tuesday and I'm planning on doing it in my 4R. If something looks like it's going to cause issues I don't plan on attempting it. Having said that, I know these vehicles are way more capable than I am. Taking your time and relying on a spotter when things get rough can get you through a lot of stuff you didn't think possible.

Stock suspension and tires for me, that's why I'm doing the 101 course, eventually the truck will be built up but only a mild build because it is my daily driver.

Had a great time today, too. The 101 course is absolutely worth it, in my opinion. Wheeled around with [MENTION=24033]4RunnerFanatic[/MENTION] all morning and early afternoon. The only casualty was my Shrockworks engine skid, which did its job. Poor thing took a beating though lol. Must have been a rock I didn't see when giving it gas going up through the ravine

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I see that chudiddy already got back to you. We all finished up at about the same time.

Looks like you had a blast! I went through a few classes and guided trail rides with Kyle. He's a really good instructor/guide.

Missed you by a day. I'll be there bright and early tomorrow morning for the 101 -- guessing it's gonna be pretty muddy and wet. Glad I relocated the diff breather the other night!

As much as I wish I could, I can't get there more often than 1 x two-months at best. 5-hour round-trip makes it a long day.

The 201 class taught me that having more-coverage, aftermarket skids didn't mean I could go driving about without a care! Take it as slow-and-easy as you did the 101 class.

Lots of off-camber and more pronounced wash-out driving. You will definitely be hanging a wheel or two this time! He likes to take lots of "flex" pictures during this one so be sure to pause long enough to get in the picture thread he posts on their FaceBook page.:hello:

I'd love to, but I have to get ready for a fishing tournament I've got coming up next week. I think this might be the weekend to go if you want to try your 4R out in the mud. Stay dry and have fun.
