Hi all, winter here is coming in the northeast and looking for suggestions for car covers for our 5th gen 4runners. I've looked into several websites but nothing really stands out. Pls let me know!.

Unless you plan on cleaning all the gravel and salt off every time you put the cover on, it's a waste of time and money and can make things worse.

Land Cruiser may be right.
I have always found a garage works best for covering my cars. Here in So Cal we have lots of sunshine and no snow or salts on the roads. But the UV is hard on the paint job and interior. That's why I always try to park in the shade, preferably in a garage.

I have had very good luck with a company called California Car Covers in chattsworth ca . The quality is very good and the customer service is top notch.
