Real World MPG with 5th Gen?

2017 TRD Pro with 1,600 miles now. 275/70R17 KO2s and 87 octane.
Daily city driving: 12.5-13.0mpg consistently
450mi trip up to the mountains and back with mix of traffic and ~70 miles of uphill: 17.7mpg (two trips total)
These bigger heavier tires are a huge hit to city mpg, but not as much for highway.

15.3 mpg prior to my lift, now 15.1 a month later with out resting the cpu. 285/70/17 general grabber at2s pre & post lift. 2.5 front, 2 rear.
Probably need a diff drop. Oddly enough, my mpg dropped when I installed my TRD CAI, however the power boost off sets the sluggish feel of the larger tires.

1st and 2nd tank (bone stock) - Driving like a grandma, I got 300 miles before light came on
3rd tank (TRD CAI added) - Was on pace to go 320 to 350 miles before I filled up. I was also driving a little harder than the first two tanks.
4th tank (TRD CAI + SCS wheels + cooper discoverer STT pro) - I can definitely feel the additional 12 pounds per wheel (compared to OEM). We'll see how range is affected.
I'm still breaking in the car but I'm hoping I can reach into the 18mpg range... fingers crossed

I drive pretty fast, and am about a 65% city driver. I'm averting about 17 city, with a 3" lift and 33" tires.
Yeah, the more I drive my 4runner, and the more I check up on this thread, the more I realize that the rated 21-22mpg highway is more of a "best case scenario" than anything else.
Winter mixed city/highway, I'm lucky if I get 16+mpg.
Summer mixed city/highway, ~18mpg normally.
Summer, highway, 70mph, no hills, no headwind, I can get 20mpg....21mpg only if the planets have aligned.
Towing, high payload, tough terrain with 4wd, mpg starts to rapidly decline...a great vehicle though, as it's gotten me out of some tough spots....I just wish Toyota would jump on the bandwagon and offer a diesel option.

'17 TRD off road premium with about 2k miles on the clock, here's my experience so far:
Mixed driving (no highway, but not a lot of stoplights)= 19.3mpg
Highway driving only = 22.2mpg
Local driving, weekends I am doing lots of trips that are very short distances, less than 2-3 miles each = 17.1mpg
Can't wait to tow the pop up camper this summer and see how she does.
Also, I'm at altitude (5480ft above sea level).

Well...yeah, that's what the highway mileage rating is. It's measured with a completely stock vehicle (how many people here complaining about mileage have a stock vehicle) only going up to 60mph. The faster you go, the more drag you have, the lower that mpg number is going to go.
I'm at around 7800 miles on mine. All stock except for a TRD intake (Factory filter) and 255/75 Cooper Maxx C-rated tires.
26 fill ups
Highest MPG: 21.04
Lowest MPG: 11.62 (while towing 5000+ lbs)
Total average thus far: 17.36. Pretty close to the middle. Not bad I'd say as I do tow a decent bit. That's a good 3-4mpg better than my JK would average, it's best was only 18.

Highway - 23.6
I drive my 4R slow, Pretty slow. I usually go limit or 2-3 mph slower in the city and about 5 miles slower in the highway.
