This may make me a idiot, but I honeslty had no idea there was a "winter blend" of fuel. Thank you for the thread recommendation. That makes me feel a little better. I'm going to start a excel spreadsheet to track the data.

That's why we are here man. Good luck and use a 12 week moving average to get rid of those special trips and cold snaps and give you a trend line you can follow.

No need for a spreadsheet..... download a free app. I use Road Trip LITE, some others on here use Fuely.

I've seen a wide variety, primary from road-trips for photography purposes. During my fall foliage trip in October, I had my low point of 18.1 mpg and last Saturday, returning home from Phoenix, driving from Del Norte, CO through Fairplay and into Denver, I hit my high average of 27.02 mpg.
All hand calculated. I track all fuel, service, maintenance, etc. in Road Trip v11.1 on my iPhone.
Climbing the various mountain passes, I use manual shifting and keep the RPM's up into the power band, so I'm fairly content when I see my overall average of 21.50 mpg.

If you have a smart phone look up an app called GasCubby. It's what I use to track mine. And I'm averaging anywhere from 16.9 - 18.5 because of the hilly 75MPH roads I drive on during my long trips to work.

I'd consider that within standard deviation; it may or may not be related to the nerf bars. It's about a 1.6% change.

16MPG in winter

Once during last summer, I tried hard, and got 23 MPG on 2 consecutive tanks. But nearly got a depression and went insane doing so.

I do not know, I know it was at a minimum of 20mpg at 70mph during a recent trip, I just calculated it my head real quick when refilling. Around town not too bad, at least over 17mpg, again, just on top of my head when refilling.
As a note, this is about 6mpg less all around than my Edge with ecoboost got for city and highway. But I could get a solid 33mpg with the ecoboost at 55mph. Around town it was always 23mpg if I remember correctly, definitely not more than that.

In the short time that I've had mine (3 months), I've been averaging 19.5 mpg with mostly city driving with some freeway speeds (65 - 70) mixed in.
I always use the eco monitors to help with the gas pedal threading. Our other car is a Prius so, I'm used to just barely keeping the gas down just enough to keep speed.
