Real World MPG with 5th Gen?

I'm having trouble figuring out how to reset the MPG tracker... I must be blind but can't find it in the manual either. Brand new 2016 SR5 owner... apologies if this is a dumb question.

Just hold down the DISP button while on the mpg and it will reset.

I bought a '16 Trail last Sunday & bought 265/50r17 Duratracs the next day. I'm getting the same mileage as you but all of it in the city. Haven't given her a good road run yet.

Fuely.com Avg MPG

Found this on fuely.com prior to buying the 4Runner. I've been spoiled with 25mpg SUV's and 35mpg cars, and was a bit scared of the pitiful 4Runner mpg, but figured I'd make it up in lack of service, maintenance, reliability and longevity. Plus it's a trade off I'm willing to make for the capability I get from owning this beast!

I reset the mpg reading when I bought it. 2014 Ltd. 39k mi. All new fluids: oil, Trans, diffs & transfer case, coolant. It registered 19.9 mpg on the 620 mi road trip home avg 70+mph. After adding 1k mi of 90% hwy driving (70+mph), it's down to 18.7mpg. Overall satisfied. Need more fuel capacity though -def NOT used to only ~300 mi range at full!

I have a 16 SR5 Prem, with 26K on it. My MPG averages 19.5 on my daily commute and long trips, unless there is wind; then it is a brick on wheels which gets 17.5mpg.

I do have a roof rack, KO2's and Sliders which adds weight and subtracts mileage.

SO all-in-all, still happy with the mileage!

I actually reset my Trip A every fill up, and then do the math with actual gas filled up and actual miles driven. It is more accurate than a running average over the life of the vehicle. I keep all of this on an excel sheet. I am an accountant, leave me alone.

Anyway, my last fill up on my (basically) bone stock 16 SR5 was 18.98mpg in city driving.

I've been averaging about 19 in my 2015 SR5. I drive about 60% highway and 40% city.

I have bilstein 5100s all around, front at 1.75, cornfed spacers rear, and stock size falken wild peak at3w tires.

Wife drives our 2016 SR5/XP package (20" wheels/tires) and are seeing an average of 15.6mpg. Much of the driving is stop and go traffic during the daily commute so we're not too disappointed with that.

I drive the 2016 Corolla and have been averaging 30.5mpg so that makes up for her lousy mileage.

I've only had my 2011 SR5 4x4 for about 2 weeks but I'm getting about 18 mpg average.

2016 SR5 about 1000 miles so far - gentle driving during break-in period, 60/40 highway/suburbs, A/C on 99% of the time, 18.0 - 18.6 MPG pretty consistently, even after resets.

Ok so I was getting mid 15's on my 2016 TRD Pro, but I decided to reset the MPG computer on the last fill up and I am getting mid to high 17's. That is driving around 80 on the highway. I suspect if I were to take it easy on the gas pedal I'd get in the low 18's.
