Rear bumper replacement

About a month ago some #@%!*^ hit my wife's truck and kept going. They broke the tail light (already fixed) and dented the left side of the bumper.

My question is, would I be able to find just the corner piece and replace it, or will the entire bumper need to be replaced. Also, someone told me that the bumpers only come in chrome and will have to be painted to match her 2000 SR5's color.

What say ya'll?

Stock paint job I believe. If I recall correctly though, it may be the second bumper on this truck. We bought it last year and I think that's what the carfax said.
At some point in the not too distant future, I'll be replacing my OEM silver painted rear bumper. Which means it will be available.

If it was chrome i have that piece sitting in my garage. You could have it for 20 bucks or somethin if you want it.

I got hit and run a couple years ago while parked a friends dorm. It was my passenger side "Rear Bumper extension" and I ordered a new OEM one. Install was all of about 4 bolts.

The side pieces are sold separately in two flavors: chrome and unpainted black ready for top color. The pieces are different in holes, etc. as well because of the cladding. You want the unpainted black and then need a shop to paint it. I have never seen any for sale pre-painted in real colors. I doubt the site linked above does when you actually get down to it--but if it does, it's a great find. Certifit has decent cheap replacements (they call it "sort-a-fit" for a reason, but it gets the job done.)

Be prepared to lose a few bolts if the truck has seen much salt; but otherwise it's an easy swap.
