Rear door leakage points?

Hi all,

I have a leak in the rear door, if it rains heavily the last 10cm or so of my rear floor gets wet, and if I remove the cover and roll up the carpet you can see it has rusted a little there in the past and has been rust treated.

I will be re-treating it, and I park in my garage now, but I would like to know if this is the rear seals or if there are other entry points? I have removed and cleaned the seals and cleaned up the door area also.

The seal doesn't look too bad, and I know from previous vehicles I have owned that water can get in through the tail lights, but it looks like tail light leakage would not end up on the rear floor from what I can see.

Any hints?

Quick update - found a bit of a hidden cut in the seal that goes right through.

Anyone know a good source for door seals?

Also wondering if there are any other common water entry points back there that I should check at the same time...

If you are willing to pay the shipping from the USA + for the seal, I can supply a door seal. I shipped a Corolla cup holder to Australia (Tasmania) for $10 USPS. I know parts in Australia is crazy expensive. A used AC compressor is Australian $ 120 or so. My friend owns a 02 prado in Canberra with 5VZFE and he cries after hearing the prices in the USA.

Yeah the prices here are crazy too - $290ish NZD for the seal from Toyota.

Are you meaning second hand parts? It's good to know that there is someone out there who will ship international! I have actually found a seal for $75nzd second hand so I would imagine that would be hard to beat with shipping, but if you can source new I would be open to paying a bit more for one...
