Rear Drum Shoes Question

Okay this might seem like a simple question but I can't find an answer so please don't act like the Toyotaholics *******s.

I've serached this forum and several other forums and websites but can't seem to find the thickness of the rear drum shoes anywhere. I found one site that said it should be 0.039" but that can't be right because mine is about .25" and I have no e-brake and hardly any stopping power.

Also, while I'm in there changing my drum shoes, what other maintainance things should I look for?

Thanks in advance!

The fsm is showing 1mm or 0.039in as the "minimum" thickness or the time they need to be replaced.

Check for seized bellcranks and also any oil inside the drum and on the shoes indicating a rear axle seal failure.

Same problem here (no ebrake, feels like I'm not stopping fast enough) Brake shop says rusted bellcrank, scheduled for repair later this week. I'll post a follow up.
