Rear End adjustment side to side?

Ok I'm just wondering once its on the ground bolted up that I can get the adjustment right to center my axle.

Steve Schaefer also includes instructions for fitting his adjustable PHB, i.e. locking the nuts on each end to a specific overall PHB length for a given lift - it will pretty much be where you want it to end up when everything settles

there was a post with this information in it somewhere

Thanks I appreciate it. Im a car collector but the 4Runner is new to me.

So I got my SS pan hard. I took the stocker off, drove the truck maybe 5 miles and left it parked the week. It settled a bit but not enough to get everything centered. Anything else I can try?

here are some notes which helped when I installed my own SS1.2 lift and SS adjustable PHB:

jack up the rear axle slightly to ensure the bolts slip right out of the PHB -
you should not pound them out – just fiddle with your floor jack to finesse out the bolts

PHB length (for my 3" lift) = 37-5/16" center-to-center

then finish off the adjustable PHB installation by tightening the jab nuts on each side

after installing your lift (and while the rear end is still off the ground), loosen all 8 bolts securing the rear links (upper and lower); reset those at ride height once everything is relaxed and then re-torque them once the rear tires are sitting on level ground again

get an alignment due to the lift

I will recheck that stuff. Thats my lift height so I will remeasure my PHB length.

I will recheck that stuff. That's my lift height so I will remeasure my PHB length.

did Steve include any instructions for you with his adjustable PHB?

that was the exact length he recommended, and it ended up working fine after I loosened and then properly retorqued those 8 link bolts and got the alignment...

I actually removed the drivers side bolt of the PHB and let the truck settle again. Then I jacked up only the drivers side rear, re-measured my length and bolted things back up. After a quick drive things seem to be more even now.
